software maintenance with the same professionalism as new
development.
Software maintenance is required as we have to update the system whenever new donation occur. Every time we get new results we update the system in the same way. It is not considered unimportant since the usefulness of this software is highly dependent on the quality of maintenance. How quickly we update the software with new donation is a critical maintenance issue as patient are quite interested to know whether blood is available.
